About Me

Hi, my name is M.R. Anglin

I was born just outside of Kingston, Jamaica. I emigrated to the US when I was about seven or eight (or maybe nine) years old and am currently living in Florida. I started writing after I received a Super Nintendo for my birthday one year. I loved Super Mario World so much that I created fancharacters and started writing stories starring them.

I didn't think of writing as a career until I went to college. I was studying to be a pediatrician, but my heart wasn't into it. Then one day as I was walking and praying on my way to class, I heard God say (in my heart), "You are going to be a writer." I changed my major the next semester.

I love to write. In fact, I am a freelance writer. Please take a look at my portfolio to see samples of my work and to contact me on work related matters.

I also love to help other people become better writers. I will be happy to help if you have a question about writing.

Bye!
